March is the month when everyone goes crazy for basketball. But we figured, why let basketball players have all the fun? So for those of you who are less athletically inclined and more eat-letically inclined, we’ve set up a March Sandwichness bracket. Come back to Woot! every day to vote and help us decide which sandwich is the king of all things lunch!

All you have to do to participate is go to the polls and vote for your favorite sandwiches! It’s that easy! It’s even easier than it would be to actually eat the sandwiches! But probably a little less tasty.

Check back here at noon PST to see the winners from yesterday’s poll. Winners from today's round will be posted at noon PST tomorrow!

Today we tackle regional and international sandwiches. It’s not often that we get to show off our hometown pride just by eating a tasty snack, but one of the many beautiful things about sandwiches is that they give us the opportunity to do just that.

Vote for the sandwiches you love from across the country (and around the world) or just vote for the sandwiches that are matched against the sandwiches you hate the most. It’s all up to you!

***UPDATE: THE RESULTS ARE IN

The winners from yesterday are:
(1) Cheeseburger defeated (16) Tuna Melt
(8) Club defeated (9) Roast Beef
(5) Hamburger defeated (12) Cheese
(4) Corned Beef defeated
(13) Egg Salad
(6) Ham and Cheese defeated (11) Ham
(3) Grilled Cheese defeated (14) Chicken Salad
(7) Classic PB&J defeated (10) Classic Ice Cream
(2) BLT defeated (15) Tuna Salad

It proved to be a tough race between Classic PB&J and Classic Ice Cream Sandwich, but PB&J edged it out by just 68 votes. Every vote really does matter!

Almost every other matchup was a runaway, so I suspect we’ll have some tough decisions to make as we move forward in the tournament.

Remember to vote today and check back on the blog tomorrow at noon PST to see the winners from today and keep voting!
